Assessment and Intervention Services

WIPC is able to offer a range of psychological assessment, treatment and management services.

These bespoke services are designed to meet the individual needs of the client and bring together a highly qualified team of professionals as required, working in partnership with Adult and Child Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Specialist Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Occupational Therapists and Counsellors. WIPC is also associated with SEN Associates who provide independent assessment and support to children and families in need of extra support in Education.

All work is aimed at promoting the best interests of the child(ren) concerned, and this is the primary focus of WIPC

Types of problems WIPC is able to work with:

Child Development and Psychological Assessment

• Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Children, Young People and Adults, including autism, Aspergers Syndrome, non-verbal learning difficulties, language disorders, learning difficulties, dyspraxia and learning disability.
• Neuropsychological Assessment
• Assessment and Diagnosis service of Aspergers and Autism for all ages.

Psychological Well Being

• Supervision and consultation to parents, professionals, and carers.
• Access to assessment and treatment of psychological emotional and behavioural difficulties, including helping with the consequences of family breakdown, adjustment to difficult life events, relationship and attachment difficulties.
